Hello everybody!

Alright, my questions for today are:

Does anybody know if it is possible to replace an Ibanez Edge Pro with an Original Floyd Rose?
Do you think it is worth the switch, or is the Ibanez "better"?
Are the locking nuts for each bridge the same?
--Note: I am aware that the nut width is dependent on the neck, but are the locking nuts different styles?

Thanks a lot!

I am IN LOVE with my edge.
Don't bother man.
The only thing better is the steinberger one, because it perfectly raises pitch of all strings.

The locking nuts are the same.
Again, don't bother. Ibanez edge is a very good tremolo.

aha

I read that OFR bridges were built to a lower standard than the Edge Pro. We'll see :]

So the only real difference between the locking nuts are the width as per the neck size correct?

Many people prefer Edge Trems to OFRs. Anyway the Edge trems are quality trems, the only real reason I see to change it is if you have a lower end Ibanez with a lower quality Edge trem, and even then you are better off just getting a better Ibanez. And Edge trems are licensed under Floyd Rose patents, so it's a similar design, if you want to feel a big difference Kahler trems have a much smoother whammy function.
