Truth be told I spent most of the day in a bar but I did accomplish this before I started 'celebrating'.

One of my favorite songs ...

This is amazing work man.. playing melody and chords at the same time is a hard thing to do. Did you work it out by ear or did you use a tab? I'd love to learn it myself smile.gif

Thanks Taka!
I work it out by ear. I'm an old man - I've been listening to that song since I was a wee lad.
Though I f'd up one of the chord changes. At the end of the verses where it goes (in my arrangement) from a D to an E (IV to V) it should be D to B (IV to II). Cest la vie.

This is a beautiful video mate. I love the song's theme, but I also think that you did a very intense interpretation. You gave it a very warm feeling and groove. Congratulations!

Man that's a nice piece who's it by?
I love that little country sounding bend at around 2.37. Beautiful.

That is an old song from 1966 by 'the Left Bank'. The band's piano player wrote it. He was 16.

Great song, I know it was on an "Ally McBeal"-Soundtrack (it was my ex-girlfriend's CD, ok??!!) and was my favourite song on that album, sung by Vonda Shephard.

They had another hit - Pretty Ballerina. He wrote or co-wrote most of the bands tunes. His name is Michael Brown. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Brown_(rock_musician)
Renee has been covered by many singers.
