But these days the "starter" 24 inch screen iMac is about $1,299 which is very reasonable for a nice computer IMHO It's still about double what you'd pay for a PC but does include the screen/monitor which is built in But even cheaper, you can get a used MAC MINI and use the screen/monitor from a PC! One of our very own GMCers (who shall remain nameless) recently bought a mac and just hated it and returned it for a PC. He just plays a lick and does a bit of copy and paste and boom! He's putting together a track Of course, he could play the whole thing, too, and probably does. Just showing a quick and dirty technique And BINGO on the gear!! PERIPHERY did their first album ENTIRELY IN A BEDROOM!!!!!! yup.
