Hi GMC team,
I have been playing guitar for over 8 years and was stuck at deadlock since there was no mentor or online classes a few years ago. but let me admit just for a short stay with GMC team, I actually started playing solos. As an amateur I have felt that any guitarist first has to liberate hi/her fingers, only after this a whole new spectrum opens up. and GMC has helped me in achieving that and within 02 months. Most of us struggle for practice time and GMC lessons do not waste time in story telling. these lessons involve all your senses to improve playing. My dream is to be able to play melodic rock solos. A constant dream I live everyday. As I am not rich, I have a Gregg Bennett AV3 and ZOOM G3X. It just does the job. Want to upgrade as an when my skills improve.

Love GMC!!!!!

Hi Nreach26, great to see you in the forum! smile.gif

It is really good that you are feeling the progress you are making on the guitar. I can feel a strong vibe and dedication to practicing in your post which is great, you should keep going. Getting involved more in the community is a very good move as just by hanging out with fellow musicians and sharing experiences you'll learn a lot of new things along the way. You have a realistic goal of playing melodic rock solos.

How do you feel about your progress towards that goal at the moment? What would you perceive as the element/technique/concept you are most struggling with at the moment?

BTW - I think you should try joining one of our collabs smile.gif These are all for fun and players of all levels and styles are invited. Here is the latest one: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...showtopic=53560
No harm in trying smile.gif

Hey mate smile.gif As you said, less story telling and more action - I am running a mentoring program which you can find more about here: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...t=0&start=0 - if you find it interesting, I'd be happy to start working with you, in order to develop your skills as a guitarist/musician in becoming a melodic player! Please let me know what your thoughts are smile.gif

Well that's very kind of Yours smile.gif Thank You for those words. We always love to hear that we're able to help. I hope You'll notice even more improvment in Your playing. Hope You could share Your progress by posting a vid ? How about it ?smile.gif

The dream of being perfect someday is the biggest motivation...and guess what? It actually never happens so none of us looses the motivation smile.gif Even guitar gods (at least part o them) do say truly that they want to learn more and more ...and there is still so many things to master. This instrument never gets boring smile.gif
