The title sorta sums it up..... mine will have to be Quantum of Solice, F.E.A.R or Silent Hill
Warcraft Frozen Throne was THE best game I ever played, but I think there are a lot more games that I really really liked

and you may ask yourself "What kind of person plays all these RPG and strategy games, and doesn't play World of Warcraft???"
I have never played World of Warcraft, nor will I, It is a drug far more addictive than cocaine, heroin, crack, and meth combined... and I will have none of it ... this is just what I have heard
Any RPG but number 1 is Final Fantasy Tactics.
Goldeneye N64 a first person classic
I would say Broken Sword 1 and 2, Grim Fandango , Course of the monkey island and Mafia!
Final Fantasy VII is still the best game I've ever played, don't think it'll ever be beaten!
When C&C came, that was something extra!
I'm still enjoying this series with the new games coming to XBOX360. One of few games I enjoy.
EDIT: Spent a lot of time with Asteroids on Atari2600 and I really digged Commando on C64 too.
Killer 7
the halo trilogy, easy
Guitar Pro 5
Ok, if I had to pick one it would be Halo. I haven't played a lot of video games, but I remember that Halo was great fun when I tried it. There was a period of my life where I was addicted to Runescape though
Flight Simulator X is on non-stop
Call of Duty #1 the first call of duty and the best
awesome game, playing in TWL ladders and in cal matches was soo much fun and competitive...
Final Fantasy series, in particular 5,7,8,9,10,12

Everquest
Diablo II
The Legend Of Dragoon
Breath Of Fire IV
Left 4 Dead
Assassin's Creed

Freedom Fighters
Fallout series
Dead Space
Elder Scrolls III: Morrowind

Sid Meier's Civilization
Command And Conquer series
But there are so many more
The old Monkey Island.
I'm not playing videogames so much currently
I really really loved American McGee´s ALICE - weird, dark, just great!!
World of Warcraft was an experience I don´t want to miss.
ATM playing Age of Conan - nice game and great graphics!
Kingdom Hearts 1 and 2, the story and characters are so good, i almost actually cried at the ending
Hm... Either Legend of Zelda: Ocarnina of Time, Elder Scrolls: Morrowind/Oblivion, or Super Smash Bros =)
for wii, i got super smash bros brawl and dance dance revolution for christmas. they are both so sweet.
Best Game Ever: Chrono Trigger for the SNES
Most Life Wasted: Diablo 2: LOD for the PC
I havent gamed that much for the past year/six months, but I really liked GTA San Andreas, Kingdom Hearts series and Final Fantasy 7+10... I also like those games you cna play if you just got 10 or 20 minutes before something like Counter Strike and Battlefront
Final Fantasy I-XII, The Legend Of Dragoon, Dragon Quest VIII etc.
Broken Sword, Resident Evil (not the last one), Monkey island,
Max Payne, GTA, Tomb Raider, Commando...have I missed something?
The Thief series!.
A really old game called Master of Magic.
The baldurs gate series, Icewind dale series, Neverwinter Nights games, the Fallout series and of course Planescape Torment.
I loved the game Stronghold, it took an old gem (Castle) and made it even better.
The gothic series.
The entire Civilization series!
Severance Blade of Darkness
and the Half-Life series is pure fun.
Also, the Freespace games are the best space combat sim games I have ever played.
I forgot about the Baldur's Gate Series. Also a classic
Oldies Goldies:
Monkey Island, Indiana Jones Series, Another World, Full Throttle... (long live Lucas Arts!!), Commandos, Diablo 1 y 2, Warcraft 3, Starcraft, Baldurs Gate, Worms, Stronghold... and so
The New ones:
Assassins Creed, GTA IV, COD 4/5, Titan Quest... and so
Ghost recon was my all time fav...going back a ways I would have to say I rather enjoyed donkey kong island adventure thing...that was a fun game in its day as well
GTAIII was probably my favourite game ever. I was young when it came out and therefore could play games for hours on end. And then the fact that it was the first GTA game to go 3D which was a massive step. The game was just incredible. I played Vice City and all the other games less because I was bored of just driving around killing people. All because of the amount of time I played GTAIII.
And Battlefield 2. Any game that I can log near 700 hours on must be pretty good.
For me the best game i have played to date has to be Mass Effect.
If you haven't tried it i suggest it, the story line is powerful and easy to negotiate, the quest routines are topnotch and the graphics kick butt.
Its the first RPG type game i have played in a long time that actually made me play it 3 times thru in a row non-stop. Wasted a month of my life doing it too lol.
I can't wait to see what they do with expansion add-ons, the first one is really excellent i can't wait for more from this series!
Daniel
Total Annihilation: The Core Contingency. But only with human opponents. Haven't played it since I went to Windows XP. Hmmm, I wonder what the new versions are like .....
wow no halo fans huh?
Elderscroll Series
Halo Series
Diablo Series..although i have the feeling that bilzzard is going to ruin D3 by nickel and diming us for online play
Perfect Dark on the N64
and dare i say it: Runescape....why do i say that? its getting updated every week with new stuff to do...you only pay $5 a month...and you can play it from anycomputer anywhere with out downloads....only problem is that it is infested with snobby little kids and snobby no life old peoples...i havent played it in years, but i used to play it with my friends back when it first came out and then for 3-4 years later
but each one of those games were revolutionary, and influenced other games to become great although some, maybe most are not on par with them even still...
First of all, EVERY gamer should play through the Zelda: Ocarina of Time on N64. It's simply stunning in every way. Goldeneye 64 is also a classic.
Then in no particular order:
-GTA-series
-Max Payne-series
-Company of Heroes
-Half-Life 1 & 2
-Grim Fandango (simply the greatest point-and-click adventure game ever)
-Halo-series (the first is still my favourite from the 3)
-Diablo 2
-Elder Scrolls Oblivion
Can't think of anything else right now
I must admit that I'm old school.
I must have spent hundreds of dollars on Bust-a-Move 4 arcade machines.
That's my all time favorite...
No particular order..
Duke Nukem 3D Atomic played in LAN (Not much internet gamers when it came out)
That was really cool..
The Need For Speed Series ..
Diablo I + II
I have to add Mercenaries 1 and 2, and Far cry 2 and Left 4 Dead, Amazing games!
I know this one is old, but no other game has been as addicting as this one:
Starcraft.
Yes I liked it better that warcraft, age of empires, or any other strategy game, and starcraft II is coming out
Star Wars Galaxies (the first 2 years)
Diablo 2
Dune 2
Rome: Total War
Civilization series
and last but not least
Metal Gear: Solid
I love all nintendo mario games
As I continue playing it, Farcry 2 is becoming one of the best. 50 km2 of gameplay area??? Even with a SUV, it takes you nearly an hour to cross the map from east to west! Now that is what I call open gameplay!
If you want my opinion about old games, Duke Nukem 3D and every Black Isle game!
Curse of the Monkey Island
The famous Guybrush Treepwood
