I like how you throw our names in the mix as well - kind of like a shoutout cool.gif

Once the latest take is made downloadable I'll jump in

Yes the shoutout is simple but effective!

I think Laurents last take is downloadable now.

Ok this is out of my league rolleyes.gif I haven't got a clue what to do with this so I did something that could maybe be used as an intro laugh.gif

[attachment=41933:Lick_4_w..._backing.wav]

[attachment=41934:Lick_4_no_backing.wav]

Hopefully you can use it, I thought it might be a good lead into the first bit of playing unsure.gif

Cheers

Excellent to see you keep going, I encourage anyone to chime in! I will start mixing the new takes as soon as I am back in the studio.

If you are unsure which backing to use, see this post: https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_fo...st&p=711379

@Phil - I don't think you need to redo anything that has been included in the mix we got so far. Because that has already been established as the foundation which we build upon. So if we start messing with it, things might get weird.

@Stevens - awesome to have you in! biggrin.gif As mentioned in my pm I will get back to you with more comments! Welcome to GMC! biggrin.gif

Here is a new mix, I prolonged the metal section so we can get some more solo spots!

So who will play next - starting at 03:46? biggrin.gif

Attached File  Q_n_A_V6.mp3 ( 7.18MB ) Number of downloads: 147

-----

* Try to restrict yourself to around 5-10 seconds of playing, so we can get some Q & A going.

* Leave plenty of room before and after your take, so that several others can continue the call and response using the file you uploaded. So don't just export the part where you play.

* please also send me the "guitar only" file, starting from point 0, without any reverb/delay (preferably a wav file)

* Make your file downloadable so that others can use it in their DAW.

No need to redo, I think it worked great in harmony with Laurents take!
