Isn't it great? You could see where he was heading, but even this is so incredible and fresh!

Call it the "Light brown" sound? smile.gif

He would have been 22 in 1977...

Love it!!

Love That Brown Sound! How have I never heard this? I have a bunch of VH boots and demos.

Whats your fav VH album?
Can't top Women and Children First and Fair Warning in my book. Dark, moody and fun.

This is seriously awesome. I always love raw material more than heavy production. This sounds like the raw material brought into the studio, and you can't help but be in serious EVH worship mode, with him coming up with what he did at the time he did at that age - truly a game changer.

This was fun...

You can cut the tension with a knife in this interview.

I like it, it's very raw. I like the overall sound and the way guitar is played, very wild. Thanks for sharing.

Tension? yea probably, but it's interesting to see those 3 dudes who have such GIANT egos finally figuring out how to communicate with each other. Especially Dave. The last tour he really looks happy to be playing with everyone.

I think it's great.

Probably age has slowed them down a bit. Probably for the better.
