GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Me, Myself And I

Posted by: Slavenko Erazer Feb 4 2012, 07:47 PM

Hello guys!! (and maybe some girl)
I'm from Serbia,
I am member of the forum for 5 days, and must say that im totally impressed by the both quality and quantity of the lessons presented here. And i also must say that instructors at GMC are doing awesome job to teach us "slowhand speed metallians" here to play faster!

I'm some kind of mid-level player, struggling with some power metal stuff, but lack of theory just makes me big headaches.

My influences - Fates Warning, Jag Panzer (early) , Running Wild , Iron Maiden , Vicious Rumors, Crimson Glory etc.

Cheers,
Slavenko

Greeting Slavenko ! Nice to meet another heavy metal man cool.gif

I don't know much Jag Panzer but I love their Thane to the Throne album.

I actually don't know that much theory but I've never let it hold me back. You'll still be able to hone the necesary skills you need even if you have some trouble with the theory side. It all just comes together in little bits now and again. However, between us guys here, we'll definitely help you with that side of things too smile.gif

Hi friend!! Welcome to the site!! smile.gif
I am working on a German Power Metal series and the first lesson http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/German-Power-Metal-Helloween/ is already published!

It's cool to know that you like Fates Warning! What is your favourite album from them?? I had a power/progressive metal band and the name was "Damnation" inspired by one of their songs.. smile.gif

Thanks everybody for warm welcome!

My all time favourite FW album is NO EXIT , no other album can come even close to that! I love the combination of fast ripping chords and acoustic melodies . Alder is my favourite singer, because he determined their further style .

And yes, i have checked your German power meta lesson , already left you feedback there!
