Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi Lexman! Nice choice! I enjoy this lesson a lot, the melody makes me feel a very special vibe. You could reflect the feeling in your playing even with some technique details that need to be improved. The first thing that I noted is that your bending is not precise yet, you don't reach the pitches smoothly so you should keep on working on this technique. (for example at 00:10, then the bends are a bit better). The second thing that I noted is that your timing is not adjusted, it should be tighter, mostly in the second half of the lesson when you have faster phrases (starting at 00:40). That phrase at 00:41, which is repeated many times, would sound more accentuated it you play it with only downstrokes like Laszlo does in the video.

Two other details are that your guitar has some tuning issues in the video, and that your vibrato can be even more consistent as it is in the original lesson.

Keep on playing the lesson to give it that extra that needs!

Hey mate! I think that Gabi hit all the details pretty much and thus, I would only add that you could practice against the original recording so that you may hear the differences, in respect to pitch and vibrato for instance.

Keep rocking!

Nice vibrato - wrist motion smile.gif Aside from what guys mentioned I would like You to rethink Your left hand. You have a very classical shape of hand (rounded fingers. Unfortunately this doesn't help to mute unwanted noise. We can hear how the higher strings affect longer notes (the start to ring under).
