GMC Forum _ PRACTICE ROOM _ Is It Possible To Recall A Submission

Posted by: Fingerspasm Oct 6 2009, 11:33 PM

I hate to ask this but is it possible to ask for my submission of Southern Rock Style to be pulled from the grading so I can do it again. If not I understand. I am just not happy with it. I was on the fence about submitting it and now after watching it again I wish I had waited a little longer. I posted it earlier today. If its to late then I will take my lumps and try again after the grading. Thanks smile.gif

I dont see why not man but I would suggest that you have it graded and take the points made by the instructors to help you improve on it. Thats not to say you wont pass on the first round. smile.gif

Btw, I'm going to move this post so you can reply... smile.gif

I will leave it I guess. I just see a few of the problems already and they make me cringe. I will leave it as a lesson to myself to not rush these things. rolleyes.gif Thanks for the response.

Does this mean that we can resubmit all of our takes for better ratings and to see if we've improved ? Or do we have to leave old takes be ? smile.gif

Hmm if I understood REC correctly you can submit new takes on same lessons and that is encouraged of course.

Yep! But I believe you have to write that it's a re-take! smile.gif

I think it would add to the usefulness of the program, for the individual, to submit the take again with the changes/improvements and comments of the instructors, taken into consideration. Regardless of pass or fail. I'm sure that the grading instructors wouldn't mind some feedback themselves (that is, that students are taking their comments and implementing them into their playing.) Why not? smile.gif

Thanks guys ! I might retake a few lessons then... xD

You can certainly resubmit it but make sure you let us know it is a retake. If you passed before it won't contribute to your score but you will of course get some new feedback.
