Brock Lesnar defeats Randy Couture in second round with a TKO. Lesnar was just too big and strong for Randy. Brock will take on the winner of the Mir-Noriega fight. I think Brock will win either way. He's a beast.

Brock will probably be a beast at some point but he is a tota Noob to MMA and he better develop a ground game or he will get submitted alot ala the Frank Mir fight. If he can develop some real MMA skills and not just rely on brute strength he will be unstoppable. I love the UFC but those guys are NUTS

Mir already submitted Lesnor with a nasty ankle lock. Brock at this point kind of reminds me of Tank Abott. Just a big brute with no real MMA skills. That worked in UFC 1 but not now. The athletes now are WAY to talented to just be bull rushed.

There is no doubt that Brock is one SERIOUS athlete!! But his MMA skills are pretty much non existant at this point. He is jus relying on his size and strength to overwhelm people. This will work some of the time, like in the couture fight, but not all of the time, like in the Mir fight. If he works hard and actually develops some MMA skills he will destory everybody!!! How is you tapping on the lower strings coming Besip?

I agree to a point with you Monte. I have never been a Lesnar fan but the guy has done quite a lot. All American wrestler, his time spent with the WWE and not to mention he played for the Vikings. Now on top of the UFC...Hugh.. I have a few in mind that I know can beat him, but it will take some composure and patience on there part. Mir is just not one of them, neither is Noriega. Time will tell..

When Forest beats Rashad, I hope he gets board and wants to step up a class..

There is no doubt that he is one BAD dude!! There is just so much more to MMA than being the biggest and strongest and at this point in his MMA career that's where he is. Mir already beat him, but if Lesnar had any real MMA skills he would have crushed Mir. I didn't know he played for the Vikings, what position and when? MMA is kind of funny because alot of the time the person you think should win doesn't. GSP is my favorite fighter at the moment.

Hey Monte,

He was an actual late cut on the 04/05 Vikings pre-season due to his attitude and hard (late) hits..Imagine that I think as an mma fighter, his skills are limited, but he is an accomplished wrestler and I feel he is just a triangle or a heel hook away from being better.

As I said before, there are heavyweights that will take him with technique..

GSP is the man!! Too bad he can't make 225 ...But wait, he just might.

I agree with you that he is limited, you can only rely on your wrestiling so much anymore. Look at Matt Hughes. He dominated people with his wrestling in the early days of the Dana White era UFC, but he took serious beatings twice at the hands of GSP who is just so well rounded. I think the only way GSP loses is if he gets beat "Serra Style", aka lucky punch!! Another bad ass is the "Spider". That dude is just VICIOUS!! I know that Rich Franklin just needs to stay away from that dude

Rich Franklin's nose will never be the same since the Spider got done with it!! I have NEVER seen such brutal knees in my life!! In the second fight you could see the fear in Franklin's eyes at the end of the second round!! How's the tapping coming Besip?

Man, you guys are getting me exited and I need to go to bed.. Yeah, Anderson Silva is the best pound for pound, I don't know who really can compete with him. Dan Henderson gave him a run early on in that fight a while back, but he just seems to overcome. Chuck liddell will have to be the one and I'm not sure about that..

I really like Thiago Alves as well, he is a bull for sure, I can't believe Diego ducked that fight. As far as Koschek goes, I hope he gets exactly what he needs, a good ole fashion a** woopin!
