Since I've entered a rage period of changing, I changed my tuning to Drop C and improvised a bit, came up with this idea...Just minutes ago, don't mind the timing and the misses please, I just want to know if you think it's good to level it up and turn it into a complete music...

(Missed an harmonic in the beginning)

Btw, if I do turn it into a music, that's the name "Heartless Creation" for now

I think there could be a very cool song out of this idea.
I wish you had some drums added. Do you record on PC?
If so you should download the free Addictive drums demo, that will really help your ideas.
Check it out!

Thanks, I have EZDrummer but, like I said, I just made this idea, was showing it to Pizoarro and he said it was cool, properly recorded and produced, I think it can come out great, so I still didn't do drums tongue.gif

hey i agree with David about it being a cool idea, i like the riffing. but for constructive criticism, it sounds like you have two melodies in there at the same time instead of a rhythm and a melody. biggrin.gif

I agree that it's a cool song idea, but I suggest you pan the guitars more left and right in your DAW. Try it like this:

Record a rhythm track, and pan it 100% left, then repeat that same part on another track, and pan it 100% right. Then leave the melody-tracks on the center. Also record with the metronome on so you don't lose track. This way the production is clean and everything in the mix can be heard more properly smile.gif

What recording software did you use? smile.gif

Hey Toni, I did exactly that, maybe the volume of melody should increase, but I'll be sure to change it...

I use POD X3 LIVE and Cubase smile.gif

Did you export the song in Mono or Stereo?

Hey Toni, I did exactly that

that's strange, 'cause we can't hear that in this mp3 mixdown... it sounds like some mono track.

Besides, maybe it's my ears, but for me those two guitars don't play with each other well, they're out of tune... or I'm too tired wink.gif

But - the idea itself sounds nice, so you could jump into it and work on turning this into the song smile.gif

There's definetly a good song in this smile.gif But as it is now, it is kinda hard to seperate the two different melodies/guitars, and also.. the guitar does sound slightly out of tune from around 00:30 and out.

Hopefully you'll put up a version with drums soon smile.gif

I think there are some nice ideas but you have to put some order in that recording. A nice click could be enough to organice a little bit everything. Also when you re-record the whole thing be sure to pan a little and give some mix if you use more than one guitar because that contributes to generate a little disorder. And the hyper-distorted sound also messes a little bit.

Keep them comming man, chopp some riffs biggrin.gif
