Hello GMC! I know that there are many neoclassical fans out there! I was wondering wich are your favourite albums in that style or at least with neoclassical influences... My favourites ones are the first Yngwie Malmsteen's Rising Force album and Vinnie Moore's Time Odyssey.

And yours?

I don't know any neoclassical music, but I like your Neoclassical Shrapnel Style lesson very much. That is my favourite lesson of yours, although I only can play 100bpm not as fast as you. (but I started from 60bpm so i am quite pleased I came up to 100bpm) smile.gif

If you liked that lesson I recomend you to listen some albums of that label's artists. Moore, McAlpine, Becker, etc...

Also I think Power Metal uses a lot of Neoclassical ideas. Especially bands like Stratovarius, Symphony X and Rhapsody of Fire smile.gif

It's really hard to find but I think they might have reissued it.

Adagio - Sanctus Ignis smile.gif

I don't really know if this is neoclassical, but it's one hell of an album anyway laugh.gif

Here's a sample: http://www.adagio-online.com/MP3/adagio_02...nner%20Road.mp3

And Holy Land by Angra is one of the best albums ever, *putting it on right now*

Also Aina from the Netherlands are a great band but not really Neoclassical. They are a Metal Opera kind of thing.
