Ahh, I see.

By the way these are the exercises I used to do when trying to get the pinky up to speed or strength. I'd take about 1 to 1.5 hrs to complete the entire workout. I'd do each exercise for 3-5 min. nonstop for the picking exercises and 1-2 min each nonstop with the Legato exercises. After a few days I'd have pinky death, but I'd still keep playing and forcing it. I'd do this daily first thing and then the other sessions would just be learning new songs and Flight Of The Bumblebee but it was very difficult to play after the first workout daily.
Picking Exercises:

Legato Exercises and here I'd do ALL the combinations such as 1,3..1,4..3,4..etc:

Hello guys,

Well went to the doctor yesterday and I have some type of nerve damage or RSI sad.gif mad.gif

I've always had a slight tingling, burning and some very small numbness on my pinky (specially the top area of the hand) and ring finger and I've ignored this for a couple of years now thinking it was just normal fatigue and since it was so small, I figured it'd go away eventually.

Some advice..don't ignore tingling or burning and have it checked out. Now I have to go to some specialist and hear the BS "surgery". If it comes to that I'll hang it up until I could play or take a long rest. I took a week off and came back yesterday and tried to play and my pinky was the same and then I have tingling and numbness this morning even though I barely played at all yesterday..not even 15 min.

So there's my problem and it might be more since I have that loss of control with the pinky, I might have just done some good nerve damage to it I was told. mad.gif

Don't ignore any signs and take a rest if you need one.
