He GMC

I maybe like to buy one of these two guitars:
1) Music Man Silhouette Sunburst Finish Kinman pick-ups! MM silhouette or
2) Music Man Luke I with Floyd Rose Steve Lukather Case! MM Luke 1

But with neither of them I have had experience. Does any of you know them?

Which one should you choose?

Cheers

For me they are too different...You have to specify your style of playing and stuff like that.

A Luke and a Silhouette? A nice passive pickup clean tool and an active pickup monster? I'm sure I'm no help because if I couldn't decide, the guitars are different enough that I'd buy both.

Personally I'd recommend the Silhouette, very versatile instrument. I had one but with stock pickups so with those Kinmans and the SD I should think that one will sound great!!!

Hi Sensible Jones

Oh great so you have had a silhouette.

How was the playability (how did the neck feel)?

Did yours have a floating bridge?

Mine was exactly the same as the one you posted, same colour and everything!!!
The neck is somewhere between a Strat and a top-end Ibanez.
The tremolo is superb, no tuning problems at all!!!

My brother had a silhouette. The neck is very nice, I think it is a smaller scale like gibsons, and it's IMO just the right size, not too big, not super ultra shred thin. It also sounds very nice even with the stock pickups, so I'm going to have to agree with Jones on this one!
