What about copyrights? Are we able to use it?

No, neither backing nor the composition is public domain.

When we have decided on the style, I think it makes sense for you to produce the backing like last time!

We can always use something with a boogie ish vibe smile.gif
EVen if you use a taylor swift song, all that happens is you get a email from youtube saying that the revenue split goes to the copyright holder.

It sounds cool. I have two doubts.

What about copyrights? Are we able to use it?

Is it a beginner friendly backing track?

I think from Kris' point of view, as well as GMC in general, using our own backing track is better - no accusations of anything happening then, regardless of what it could be. From a "company" perspective that's probably the best approach, I could imagine. But that's me speaking with no previous experience and no knowledge of course!

That sounds like boogie, this seems similar but I don't know if its too hard; https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/hots_boogie/

CH's has a slow boogie that to me sounds great but don't know if thats what friends would want; https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Off-Beat-Boogie/

The second lesson sounds cool! Let's see what other GMCers say!

As a beginner, I can't say I see myself playing over it. Maybe with some tips and practice it would work. No offense, it just seems too intense for me.

That Off Beat Boogie seems more friendly to me but it doesn't mean I won't try the other one at least if you choose it wink.gif

Thanks mate, your feedback here is very valuable to help us choose the right backing! smile.gif

The offbeat boogie, for me is too distracting with the guitar so up front, I'd probably struggle to break out of what Chris is playing, not that I'd be able to play that but I know I'd lock onto it and play a similar thing one string at a time, if that makes sense.

The Hot's boogie is a little too quick for most of us beginners.

A lot of rock n roll backing tracks sound too much like Status Quo but how about something like:
