all of your lessons are awesome!
i am also practicing the
alternate workout
alternate picking thirds
c minor picking etitude
steve luthaker style solo
thanx! and all the best for the dean shred contest!
That was very nice attempt wollace03,well done!!
Tho I have few suggestions to improve it even more.
First one is about timing, you play a lot ahead of beat,
like you're in a hurry or something!
No need for that, you have pretty descent technique to
catch all parts without ending some of them before right moment.
When practicing with backing always try to get volume of your guitar
bellow backing track volume, then you'll hear beat more clearly
and you''ll be able to follow it more accurate.
Few bends are a bit out of tune but you surely noted that.
That's probably caused by your "hurry" attitude
so you don't have enough time to listen to bended note.
Slow it down a little, even try with slower backing,
some things just sound better when played slowly!
Keep practicing,it's going just fine, thanks for your kind words tho
and feel free to ask if you need anything else,I'll be around.
Just as you said, bending is actually the way to connect 2 different notes,
like hammer-on or slide, not always but in 80% of time yes.
Keep practicing, post more takes of this lesson if you want
and we'll track your progress closely, thumbs up!
