That was very nice attempt wollace03,well done!! smile.gif

Tho I have few suggestions to improve it even more.
First one is about timing, you play a lot ahead of beat,
like you're in a hurry or something!
No need for that, you have pretty descent technique to
catch all parts without ending some of them before right moment. smile.gif
When practicing with backing always try to get volume of your guitar
bellow backing track volume, then you'll hear beat more clearly
and you''ll be able to follow it more accurate.
Few bends are a bit out of tune but you surely noted that.
That's probably caused by your "hurry" attitude
so you don't have enough time to listen to bended note. smile.gif
Slow it down a little, even try with slower backing,
some things just sound better when played slowly!

Keep practicing,it's going just fine, thanks for your kind words tho
and feel free to ask if you need anything else,I'll be around. smile.gif

thank you for your words!!
yep, i often play in a hurry.. i somehow always have that feeling that i have to rush - maybe i am thinking too much of what to play and do not let myself get carried away by the rythm.
turning the backing track up is a very good advice - i always turn my guitar loud cause i wanna hear it but then the backing track is barely hearable..
and for the bending - i have just seen your lesson an bending and i surely wil check it out. i just started to learn to play guitar a long time ago and back then i didnĀ“t care about technique and never had a teacher, a bend was a cool trick to make a note sound more agressive and sharp but it never occured to me, that you actually bend and get a new note that should fit into the playing.-.i really started to work on that a few month ago, when i - after many years of not really playing the guitar - began to practice again. so this is something i really have to improve...
thanx again!

Just as you said, bending is actually the way to connect 2 different notes,
like hammer-on or slide, not always but in 80% of time yes.

Keep practicing, post more takes of this lesson if you want
and we'll track your progress closely, thumbs up! smile.gif
