Guitar Rhythm (not What You Think)

I was thinking it would be really nice to have some guitar rhythm lessons that aren't ordinary. And what exactly I mean is establishing a rhythm by hitting the guitar above the sound hole with your hand or below it or something. But there is also the technique of using your thumb to slap the low E to get a kind of percussion sound as well, check out the song called "Neon" by John Mayor.

I'm not sure if there are many others that are interested but I'd like to see at least one lesson dedicated to rhythms created that are more along the lines of percussion, but still using the guitar to achieve the rhythm!

Full Or Maybe Just Partial Song Lesson

Hey, from what I understand GMC is in the process of negotiating the ability to do full tablature for songs which I think is great. And I'm not sure if this is the right area of the forum but I'd love to see "under the bridge" by RHCP! I found quite a few different tabs that had good, almost 100% accurate sounding intro's but the rhythm part doesn't seem right, tried playing it a few ways. In particular I'd like to play it on the acoustic but I've got a hunch he plays it the same way, at least for the rhythm part, on the electric. I'm a really big fan of yours and I signed up as a member of this site as soon as I found your video, BB King Style Blues Licks! I hope there will be more video's along this line, I think that people that have been playing for a few months can start to play this and all the way up to people that have been playing for many years. I'm glad to be a part of this community. I'm a college student, I'm majoring in Civil Engineering. I've been playing the guitar for almost 4 years now. Unfortunately out of those 4 years I was kind of just messing around, not really focused on practicing, I'd just play some new songs now and then, not really challenging songs. About a year ago I started getting serious, I tried out another guitar website and It was alright, so far this guitar website is easily 5x better, if not for the larger amount of video's then for the community.

P.S. Check out my signature and spread the word. Before I joined GMC I was having problems loading the video's. At first I thought that maybe the site needed more bandwidth, then I thought maybe those that were registered got some sort of priority on loading video's onto their computer, finally I realized software on my computer was the culprit! I have zonealarm (I think it's the pro version but I don't think that makes any difference in this case). Well anyways, it monitors incoming and outgoing data across your computer, and it was the true culprit.

P.P.S I was excited to see some video's on vocal lessons. I'm an atrocious singer, but there might be hope for me yet!
