GMC Forum _ CHILL OUT _ Blind Guardian Live In Stuttgart

Hey guys!

I went to Stuttgart yesterday, to watch our (former?) instructor Marcus Siepen and his buddies at work.
For those of you who have seen Blind Guardian live, you know they are perfect and are really entertaining their audience.
What I liked in particular was the way they interacted with each other and joked around on stage, especially Hansi (the singer) and Marcus.
They also said that they are recording every concert for the new live CD that will be released after the tour (whenever that may be )
One funny thing was that Marcus actually made a mistake at the beginning of "The Bard's song", he picked the wrong string and looked up the Hansi, and both laughed
They played in a venue that is usally used for classical concerts and has a special room and roof architecture for concerts, so the sound was perfect, absolutely perfect.

Cool stuff man!!
It would have been good if you could have met up with Marcus before the show!
They played over here about 5 years ago and it just happened that Muris was here visiting Emir and we all managed to meet up together and then meet Marcus as well!

Looks like a great show in a killer venue!! Great to see big acts playing smaller places that let you get a bit more up close than an arena or festival! MARCUS remains the most laid back and cool guy I've ever met. He talked over an hour with me and various fans @ the prog power fest a few years back.
