Can anyone give me some advice?

My daughter would like a new Acoustic guitar for Xmas. She would like an electric acoustic but I don't know what to get. I don't want something too expensive has she has to take it back and forth school, but I don'twant something that id rubbish either.

I found this one http://www.themusicking.co.uk/westfield-jb...itar-mega-deal-
and was wondering what you all think? Is it ok? are there better ones? what would you suggest, She is nearly 12 and can handle a full size guitar so that won't be a problem.

Eric

I would suggest this one : http://www.themusicking.co.uk/takamine-eg4...lectro-acoustic

Takamine acoustics are pretty safe bet.

I've got a Talman from Ibanez : http://www.ibanez.com/AcousticGuitars/Series-talman

I am happy with it. It sounds really good and you can easily plug it into any amp. It is a bit smaller than the usual acoustic guitars. And the look is good. You can even find a purple or blue one for "girls". tongue.gif

On the bad side, I think it is pretty expensive for a birthday. Not sure what's your budget though. I paid mine about $450.
