Hi all,
I am inspired by the lesson from Kris:
http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Your-First-Phrases/
My idea is, that everyone of us (students and instructors) share with us his favourite licks from the GMC lessons.
The licks can be from all levels over 1 to 5 bars for example.
When we have 50 licks (or more) I will make a "guitar book" called "The GMC Hero Licks Collection" (or something like this) with the licks and corresponding audio from the lesson.
Therefor I need a screenshot from the lick, the link to the corresponding lesson and the moment when the lick is played from the instructor.
I think thats a great and helpful thing to have a "GMC Lick Collection" from the GMC lessons.
What do you think???
Example:
Lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Buckethead-Style-II/

Instructor: Gabriel Leopardi
Time: 1:06

I think it's an awesome idea!!!
Damn, it's very hard for me to choose only few licks because we have so many amazing lessons but.......my first option is a lick from my favorite lesson from GMC
BTW I tried to put a screenshot with the lick from the pdf file but even if I resize the image was impossible to upload this.
Lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Ballad-soloing-dynamics-phrasing-2/

Hi Monica, thx for your feedback and the lick!

Wou!! This is an awesome idea!! Well done Chris!!
Can't wait to see the "The GMC Hero Licks Collection" book complete.
Thx Gab!!
It seems that nobody than Monica is interested in such a GMC lick collection. So I stop this initiative here...
great idea Chris! You have to be more patient! Not all of users are available all the time We need to keep this topic alive to reach more people
Yeah give it a bit more time , I'm in holiday at the moment and it's tricky to post tab on a phone I'll put a couple up when I get home
One of my favorite licks :
this is not a Gmc lesson, but it's a song from Ben Higgins !

n3m57, thx for your lick (it seems all so easy when Ben play these licks). Please share more favourite licks from the lessons you have already played!

Lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guitar/blues-licks3/
Difficulty: 4
Instructor: Gabriel Leopardi
Time: 0.21
Lick:
This whole lesson is really good actually. I still remember how awesome I felt when I first played the last lick at full speed Its one of those licks ( in fact the whole lesson ) where although it is relatively difficult to learn it sounds WAY more complicated than it actually is..... which is great!
As we are talking about heroic licks I would also include another one from Mr Higgins. The final cascading lick from 'Cross to bear'. Unfortunately I cant play it but it is heroic and if I ever manage to play it I too would be heroic.
Ben posted a http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/guitar_forum/index.php?showtopic=54137&hl=cross but it looks and sounds like this -
Lick - 3:50
btw this song should be included in the soundtrack for the TV show 'Vikings' ..... just sayin'.
Awesome licks bleez!!!
I include the lick from Ben into my daily guitar gym! I will never be able to play as fast, but its a good practise.... (I pick only the first note of each triplet, the rest with pull offs and hammer ons, I think its a little bit easier to play it "fast" then)
Pretty cool idea Keep them coming!
Gotta keep this topic alive I'm curios what you all are most interested in
Right now I am really enjoying a combination of 2 licks from this lesson by Kris.
