Original lesson: http://www.guitarmasterclass.net/ls/Metal-Metrics-2/

I am tuned a half step down than the original - so it's Drop Ab. This is my Jackson SLSMG guitar equipped with stock EMG 81/85 pickups and 68 on my bottom string.

Well done man, you nailed those riffs nicely, I specially like the last part, sounds cool. Those triplets could be a bit more tighter, meaning smoother, I think you are getting where you need to go with them, just need to relax a bit.

Well, Brandon biggrin.gif it really makes me feel very good to see and hear your take mate! Tightness and timing are very good aside from some delays in the verse riff, as Ivan pointed out, and for the main riff, there are notes which should be played without being stopped - exactly as I told you at the skype session. Also, pay attention to the bends at the final part as they not quite in pitch wink.gif

I say it's a great take! Work on these little details and you can get it perfect!

Nice take Brandon ! Very aggressive, just like the C-Maestro asked for cool.gif

Not quite as tight and accurate as the lesson itself but still hot. Like the Frank Zappa style beard too \m/

Great take, tone and attitude mate! The only thing to adjust are the fast triplets as Ivan said... the other parts are perfect.
Well done!

Well done! Nice and aggressivve smile.gif Good tone as well! Nice strong palm mute and good pick strikes as well. Strong pick strikes make a rythm sound all the more crunchy/brutal.

The triplets the guys are talking about are part and parcel to playing Metal so they are really worth focusing on. Maybe clip the triple kick drum section of the song and loop it and play it over and over. Synching your triplets with the kick drum is how bands like Meshuggah get their sound.

Very well done! Your timing is correct, tones ringing out exactly as it should ! Also a small remark on the triplets, but it is a matter that you will not be a problem to fix wink.gif . Great job man !
