QUOTE ("Steve Vai")
Start by playing something - a bend, a riff, a scale, a song - very slowly; if you make a mistake, start over; do this over and over, until you can play it flawlessly - and I do mean flawlessly - many times in a row. Next, gradually increase the tempo. Eventually you'll be flailing like a madman.

Takes a true musician to keep the rythm and melody through such a huge rythm mistake by the drummer, for that alone you should have won Muris sad.gif

Great pics and vids. Thanks for putting this together.

Man that drummer is a real TOOL!!!!

I guess when your one of the worlds best guitar players it's hard to find other musicians that are as good as you and can keep up. Bass player seemed to handle it well though. Top-notch performance Mirus! I'm sure this is going to open the doors to future opportunities that will only better your carrier.

"Think of a guitar solo as a paragraph. You need a clear beginning, a middle, and an end. Look at musical phrases like sentences, and make sure you break them up using punctuation—or space. You pause naturally when conversing, right? If you don't, you'll bore the listener. The same thing will happen with your audience if your solo is one dimensional. You'll wear them out and lose their attention." —Tom Principato

It is a shame with the dummer , but you know being a real life guitar hero is about more than just one performance(which IMO was fantastic!!).

Muris is not only a really REALLY awsome guitarist but hes also a great roll model and a really nice guy. That is why he is the real Guitar Idol biggrin.gif
