Don't know if they're on Amazon mate but maybe stuff from Derryl Gabel or Guthry Govan or Mattias Eklund (Freak Guitar) may fit the bill? All can shred but also all can do fusion/cross over. They all have tutors but I don't know if Amazon will have them - probably easy to get via the Internet though smile.gif
.
Cheers,
Tony

Apparently that secrets of shred isn't supposed to be that great really. A lot of guitarists are fond of the Troy Stetina books so maybe try speed mechanics for lead guitar? From what i've heard it doesn't just teach you to play fast but allows you to develop your own style as well. Although i'm yet to try that specific book, i have used other books in the series and i can say that i am impressed.

Not really a shred/lead kind of a book, but I've been chewing on Chord Chemistry for the last couple weeks. I'll probably be wrestling with it for years. Great stuff.
