Hello!

Well, I know this is a GUITAR forum mainly but this time I want some
vocal feedback! Especially people who know about vocal techniques
I NEED YOU!

I started practicing vocals 2 months ago and I'm seeing some kind of progress

I played this song with my friend just for laughs but I was seriously singing, at least for the 1st half!
Can I get some feedback on my voice? I feel like my singing is too weak!

I want to be able to sing in a Live Session in about a year from now, and to do that
I can just have a normal, not too high, vocal range!

But I want these notes to sound good and strong!
What can I try to improve? What is this that I lack?

I don't know that much about vocal techniques so I can't help you on that. But I do think that you have nice sounding voice, pleasant to the ear.
Maybe try searching for some vocal exercises on Youtube and see how they go?

That's what I'm doing already

You see, I've come to the conclusion that singing exercises and techniques
are standard, maybe even more than guitar! Vocal science is precise and
there are many good resources available on the Internet

But just like guitar, you have to have your technique reviewed by someone
better or somebody else beside yourself. I don't have the knowledge to do that
nor afford a local vocal instructor.

So that's why I need some feedback just to know where to put effort!

Very nice Chris! I can sense you are enjoying yourself and that translates to a great feel.

An obvious improvement I can think of would be to sing with much more diaphragm support. I don't have much experience explaining this kind of stuff - but basically for this kind of clean singing you want to feel your stomach work and be completely relaxed in your throat. You will get a much better tone and sound less nasal.

To add to Kris Stand up nice and straight when you are singing or at least sit down without slouching, that will help keep everything open

It sounds really good to me. Your voice has a nice color, and you can sing on pitch. That's a a great start. The next steps are to keep on practicing and learning a bit about vocal technique which will have an important impact in your singing.

There are many tutorials at youtube where you can start, but it's always better to search for a good singing teacher to learn the basics.
