Hi guys,
After being kind of busy the last weeks and not having the chance to play guitar as much as i would have liked, i finally have a few days off and grabbed my guitar to continue where i stopped.
To come back in the right spirit, something rock can not be wrong i have thought, so i tried Muris great "Rocking Tune" intermediate level Lesson and i'm quite happy about this take. It's maybe not perfect, but i like the aggressive, straight forward sound of this take and i decided to share this one with you.
This take is in 120 bpm and i have modified a few notes here and there.
I hope you like it and i'm of course curious about everybody's opinion.

Werce plying dude

Awsome dude, great vibrato and feel, there where very few timing issues but its really minor details, you nailed it with your own touch, good job
great take man,you haw good control over your instrument.
Thank you Superize and Nemanja ..
great feel, nice vintage style guitar too!
GREAT!
That was GREAT!! I loved the way you handled your bends and vibrato. Your tone was also very nice.
awesome take wrk. u have great vibrato
That was really good!
Nice vibrato and feel.
Some minor timing-problems though, well.. not sure i will call it timing, it's more like you need to just tighten the playing up a bit on those sections Siggum mentioned.
WOW, amazing mate !!!! really great playing and amazing sound !! just say it's high class stuff
Muris will be happy with your take
Thank you Trond, yes .. it has to be more tight. With 16th notes at 120 bpm i reach my limit when it comes to alternate picking. I do a lot of exercises in alt. picking and i feel it becomes more solid, but i don't manage to gain some speed. Speed is not my main goal, but when i play on my limits it will not be tight of cause. That bugs me since a while..
Your Picking Exercise lesson is part of my practice routine as it's kind of straight 16th notes, with some 16th triplet's here and there. Hope this will improve my right hand. I will ask some further question in your board about picking .. get prepared
Thanks Juan .. it would be great if Muris will have the time to listen to this take, but first of all he should have a great time in London. I get some great advices from you guys as well ..
Thank you Pablo, UncleSkillet and Nick ..
Awesome playing mate I'm currently working on this tune myself
Excellent work man!
This is what i am talking about when i say you need to have attitude in your playing. Sure from a critique standpoint there are some issues, but.... from a listeners standpoint they would never notice! When you play with attitude like that it comes across and makes you tap your foot and be like....ahhh yah rip it dude!
Keep it up man you have alot of attitude in your playing, i love it!
Daniel
... thank you Daniel !!
Haha .. I was reading it a few time, it just feels good ..
I really have to say i like your encouraging posts you do here in the forum ... really good to have you here. You seem to have a pure love for music, just because it's music ... please continue like that !!
Great kyldeee ... i would love to hear your take, any plans to post something soon?
I think it's very nice! Also your tone is just like Muris's!
I thought you captured the attitude of this track very well tightening up a few little things would push it over the edge for me, GREAT JOB! Nice playing
excellent take! I like your aggressive playing here and the tone is fantastic.
Very,very well!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Loved the improvised licks tho
Yeah, there are few moments when you were a bit ahead of the beat,
it usually happens when you can't hear backing track loud enough
but not major issue at all.
And I would just like to point at 1:11,
it's C chord so G dorian would fit better,
you played Aeolian using Eb,just a hint.
Good take overall,I'm proud!
*goosebumps*
That was wicked. 10/10 for me anyway. Pure rock'n'roll and who cares about scales and modes when it sounds like this? I sure don't! Loved it! If I ever learn to play like this...wow... keep it up!
Andy this was great , more than great really.
I enjoyed it very much man
Keep up the great work!
