O.K maybe back in the day he could play guitar, but tonight's half-time show with him playing guitar looked very suspect. He'd do chords here and there but it looked like he was going throug the motions on his own songs, air guitar if you will. And when it came time for the solos, no closeup camera work on the leads. Anyone else watch it?

John

I watched it. Only worthwhile part about the game.

Prince rocks, I honestly don't know what you're talking about.

I think Prince rocks too, but dude, it was mostly choregraphed guitar work...

I have always want to see some good video recording of prince playing guitar! Is this available online somewhere?

Your point? Mine was that he ripped (not to mention dominated the Foo Fighters and CCR), and that is all that matters.

Edit: Not to mention the fact that he played while it was pouring. I maintain my position that Prince won the Superbowl.

There certainly is no "maybe" about Prince's ability to play the guitar "back in the day" or today. As far as your close up guitar solo point, they tried several times. There was just that small problem with the pouring rain and the completely soaked camera lenses.
