Hi Gab

I try to improve this lesson
I feel progress but it's really hard
Take with gibson, it's sound better with palm mute section and i have less noise on rythm

Hi MisterM! I can hear very important progress in your new take, compared with the previous one. The overall groove and feel is better now. There is obviously more room to improve timing, mostly during the single note funk rhythms but you are on the right track.

The newer tone is also a lot better and fits great with the backing track.

Hi Gab

I stop working about "Vivaldi winter arpeggios", I will resume later.
I continue Basic Rock Funk al the days.

I'm learning a new, very difficult lesson : Alternate Picking Workout 6
I don't know if I would be able to play 100%.
No matter the result because I think this lesson is a very good exercise
The last part is incredible Triplet 110 BPM wacko.gif

My first feeling : it's very hard to keep timing

Hi mate! Great to see you working hard!!

This lesson is a very good choice for you. The exercise is very demanding for your right hand and becomes a monster in the final section (triplets).

The first parts are not bad but there is more room to make your picking sound more consistent but controlling dynamics and adjusting a bit your hands sync. I also notice some little unwanted noises when playing it in the higher octave. The part starting at 00:52 sounds better to me. Your hands seem to be more comfortable with this neoclassical style licks.

Finally, the triplets section needs some special attention since that's where I notice more important hand sync issues. Isolate this section and work on it over metronome.

That's all by now friend, I hope that my feedback helps and motivate! wink.gif

Hi MisterM!

Nice to see you motivated again! 😊

It’s very inspiring to listen to each of these takes and notice your awesome progress. I can see very important improvements in the new take regarding groove and dynamics. The difference is big, even comparing it with your 2018’s take.

There is some room for improvements but you already know where to put your focus. Keep on the hard work!!

Hi Gab

I work on funky blues rythm, because I need to progress with the funk technique
My first take on rec section was so bad tongue.gif
Old take (2016-12)

Spoiler:

I listen to Stephane - I try to get the same precision on the chords.
This lesson is actually very difficult. It requires a complete decontraction.

I feel better, I continue every day

Hi mate!

Good job here! I've compared your new take with the older one and it's awesome to hear how much your groove has improved. The overall feel is a lot better. There is some more room for improvements (this is a tricky lesson with lots of chords) but I can say that this take would really pass at REC.

What else are you working this week?
