Scott is a great fusion player - take a look here.

What might not be apparent is that he has had major health issues in the last few years - resulting in severe pain and loss of feeling in his left hand that was thought to have been related to a spinal problem for which he has had many tests and treatment for over two years. He has now been diagnosed with cervical arthritis and, with regard to his hand, musician focal dystonia (not spinal related).

He has a great album called Freedom (on Progressive arts) out and his follow up Convergence is slated for release sometime this year.

Seriously guys - Scott is a wonderful player who despite having a lot thrown at him carries on positively - his home page is at http://www.scottjonesmusic.com and also http://www.myspace.com/sjonesmusic for any who want to know more.

Cheers,
Tony
