Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

Hi, welcome to REC !

This was a good first take.. the timing and the rhythm playing was the strongest part. The lead playing was good but try to watch your string bending, to keep it in pitch. The first bend at 0:28 was just a bit sharp. Also, the timing of the lead phrases was sometimes a bit awkward but generally speaking, you've got a good foundation of skills. I look forward to seeing more videos from you smile.gif

Hi & welcome! Ben's comments is exactly what I noted in your take and overall playing. The next step would be to keep on playing this lesson but also start working on lessons based on specific things like bending, vibrato and alternate picking. Let us know if you need some assistance with that! smile.gif

It was a good take! And you did a good job learning it!
The riff sounded very tight and you were really grooving!
When the main melody came it your timing was a little off and some bends were out of pitch!
If you will spend a little bit more time practicing this lesson at a slower tempo using a metronome you will get it to sound great!
