> Rules

Here is where the magic happens: the REC board turns bedroom guitarists into real pros. Remember - it doesn't matter if you fail or pass, as long as you keep posting REC takes you will progress.

The entries will be graded by a number of instructors. After grading, members will be accredited with the appropriate points if they pass, and adjustments will be made to their REC level.
Passing grade is 6 or higher.

YEAH! Very cool choice of lesson - this brings up great memories from the collab.

This sounds really cool and it's truly enjoyable to listen to.

To get that final bit of mojo / tone / attack - you would work on your right hand attack and try to learn to use all-downstrokes like Gab does (ie the intro section).

Very well done - you get an 8 from me!

NICELY DONE!!! Strong Take. Solid technique all around and especially at 1:11 where you add in the triplets. Nice and tight all the way. You are playing with a high degree of confidence and ability here. YOu are more than ready to take on greater challenges! Solid 8!

Well done Chris! Your performance is really great. Let's a sume that these little unconfident notes at the beginning are just a matter of rec-stres or something wink.gif I would not complain on picking strength because it seems like Gabriel wanted to make it sound this way originally in his take - a little more muddy than we are used to but that's how it was composed. The only thing to complain is that you avoided donwpicking at some points and it makes the lesson a little easier so I can't leave that without an affect on your grade but that's only becasue we try to be fair for all teh students smile.gif Anyways....it's good take, very pleasant to listen. Great job!
