Hi. I saw somebody using a loop station at a gig and I'm now interested in getting one...
I would be using it for fun at home and small performances...can anybody suggest anything?
thanks

I got a BOSS RC-2. I'm not great at using it, but I know it CAN be awesome when used properly.

Definitely Boss RC-2 or more sophisticated Boss RC-20XL..
You will find a loop pedal very very useful for home practicing and jamming..Its a great tool to have around (along side metronome or rhythm machine) smile.gif

My vote on RC2 as well. RC20 is cool as well, but little robust and more expensive. Also RC2 is cool for practice and some demo gigging as Muris stated, but when playing in a band it is a little difficult because you have to sync it with the drummer, and that is not an easy task always.
