Ok, a little history, the past 8 months, my Big toe on my lesft foot has been hurting at the joint, and about 5 months ago, a large, bony bump developed on the joint. so, I go to see a specialist, and apparently its a genetic condition where the bone behind the joint (I circled it in the attached pic) is higher than the other bones, meaning i have very little range of motion in that toe, leading to bone spurs, calcitic growths and worst of all, arthritis.

The doctor says Ill need a total of 3 surgeries, one next month to remove the spurs and arthritic material, another next year for a metal implant (the arthritis has destroyed most of the cartilige in that joint) and i may have to get the joint fused.

(Sigh)...
