I'd like to know what works best and so on. I want to lay down some Toy Dolls covers with my son on vocals and need to generate drums that are not the generic loop samples that come with garage band. It works ok for me if you process it with some compression, reverb and EQ. My opinion is that you should get any Drum Sampler (like the Redrum) and then choose the sound from any Drum Kits bank and record or program via midi the drums in any secuencer like Cubase or Nuendo.
