Man I just love this song. The harmonics and tone that Blues Saraceno gets are some of the best in my opinion. I wish he would make some more instrumental songs. You need to listen to this on a good set of speakers. Also you can check out his other stuff on Youtube there is a youtube channel that has all of his stuff in high quality.

He really worked on his tone, very soulful, reminds of Satriani!

Fantastic song, Amazing player! I've been a fan of Saraceno for more than 10 years... it's a pity that he doesn't record solo albums anymore.

I think I read that he was a student of Satriani.

Yes that is Paul Gilbert. I got to go and see him at a Clinic that he gave. It was amazing. I also was able to get him to sign my PGM900. I am holding it in the picture. He is 10 times more amazing in person. I walked away very inspired!

I've never really listened to Blues Saraceno, but that song was incredible! I'll have to check out more of his stuff.

He deserves more attention than he gets.

Mate is right, he does deserve far more attention than he gets as a player. Though he wouldn't be the first really impressive player to get less than his due. The list of such players is sadly quite long. I do think we are about to see a shift in popular music again. It runs in cycles of course and has run as far away from musicianship as it can possibly get in terms of what is broadly considered "popular" music. It seems like it's about time for it to head the other way again.

One this that I think will influence this change is, believe it or not, ROCKBAND 3. In this game you can play an actual fender squire with real guitar strings. And on "Expert" mode, you play every note, every chord in a given song. I remember when Rockband and it's like first came out and I got a lot of students who were turned on to playing by starting in the game and then wanted to play for real. Many found out how much harder playing an instrument is that pushing five buttons and quit, but if musicianship is incorporated in to the game itself, almost by accident, young players will end up "practicing/gaming" for hours on end and end up pretty decent players without even realizing it. Of course, this is just a start, but what a grand development it would be to see more and more folks picking up the instrument and appreciating players who can actually play.

Here is a link to a blog that talks about the two guitar controllers. The second one is the real guitar.

Just a killer player and waaaaay under rated. I saw him at a Guitar Expo here in Atlanta a few years back and he was just ripping it up. He was a really nice guy too. Very humble and easy going.

Mates, i totally agree - a monster player who would deserve much more recognition! Another one who comes in my mind, in the same posture would be Michael Lee Firkins, amazing player and a very relaxed and inspiring person!
