It was a video of some guy playing Muris, "In the style of Steve Lukather" lesson.

But he called it "Color Angel" and said he wrote it himself.

he also was playing the Eddie Van Halen Lesson, too I think.

But he didn't give any credit to Muris, or even mention GMC anywhere.

Thanks guys for spotting the DVD abuse - we will take it from here.

Regarding his videos - if he had a little brain left he would quickly remove all his uploaded videos (even the ones has composed by himself - if there are any). Or at least put something to hide his face.

As it is now he could be recognised in the streets - as an intellectual property thief. Doesn't look like he realises that yet, though!

Either way - this guy won't be getting any fans for a long time.

I cant beleave how disrespectfull he is actualy, I mean. He probaly wouldnt be able to play solo´s like that without the help of the GMC teachers. The least of gradetude you can show them for that would be not stealing their compositions from their lessons, and "posing" to be an awesome guitarist as if you came up with such artworks yourself. To me its nothing different then trying to sell a poster of a painting from Leonardi da Vinci, or Rembrandt.. and telling people that its your own. ( while obviously its not. )
So, its disgusting realy. I have the deepest respect for my teachers, knowing I would still be playing the hotel california solo 24/7.. without being able to learn anything better.

Normally I could send my cat from Hell, Wooskie Booskie after him. However she it not talking to me. He has real long hair, and I was trying to be careful cutting matted hair, but screwed up, and cut an inch and a half slice out of her hide on her back side. She is walking around with a shaved butt and a bunch of stitches, so she's not going to be helping me out for awhile.

I see that he also wrote Canon Rock. I am pretty impressed.

Actually he plays decently. Nothing fancy, but what he does, he does well. Still, he did not change it enough to call it his. Pachelbel had some involvement, and he did play most of the easy stuff of JerryC's arrangement. Replaced hard stuff with his own easy stuff.

Which is nice, what he did. However, I have a thing against anyone arranging Canon that and making it easier. My view is , if you come up with an arrangement on that, and the level of difficulty drops, you are major girlie man weenie boy.

It's hardly an adaptation, more like playing it exactly note for note for over half of the song, but at least he gives Muris as David some credit, even though he misspelled David's last name. On the "adaptation of David's lesson, he commented "Amazing!" on his own video! I might be over reacting, but come on.

Oh dear, i didn't see the original video because it's no longer there but i'm guessing someone tried to convince everyone that he created something that Muris did. Nevermind at least he got found out, which gives him a very bad name. Unfortunatly there's not a lot you can really do as people seem to instead of learning to play it themselves, pretend the original is them which i'll never understand because it won't get you anywhere.
