I broke my finger yesterday. The ring finger on my fretting hand. Obviously I can't use it for 8 weeks but I've decided to continue with music theory (I really enjoy theory) and as far a playing goes power chords, drop D. Any other suggestions? Now may be a good time to focus in on pinky exercises... any suggestions?

I have kind of a silly question about using a capo. I understand you can change the key of a song by using a capo but yet still play the standard chord shapes.

What if I wanted to play the same song without the capo? Do I need to transpose the chords or is it simply a matter of playing the same exact chords shapes without the capo and now I'm just in a different key?

I've been needing a new practice amp for awhile and have been considering the AD30VT-XL. Just curious if anyone here owns one and can give me an idea on the pros and cons of it. I went to Vox's website and can't find the XL series. I have heard rumors of some people experiencing problems with the XL. Did Vox pull it or is their web development team just too lazy to update their site?

I know some acoustics come with an adjustable saddle but I didn't know if you could actually upgrade the standard saddle on an acoustic to an adjustable?

Does anyone know if Guitar Pro has the ability to display a list showing the chords in a song file?
I know you can bring up the fretboard under the view option so it shows the chord name and fingering as the tab file plays but it would be nice if I could just select an option and it displays all the chords used in the song.

Any idea?
