agree. They have really held value, even more than Martins. But Martins are nice.

I suspect the Martin being plain has something to do with it being from Pennsylvania. They have been around 175 years, a long time for an American company. Longest I know of. But that is traditional Amish country. And other religious sects were located in that state, such as Shakers, Mennonites, and of course Quakers, where simplicity was considered a virtue. Thus my theory of the traditional plain look of Martins.

I agree with audio nice ART...........I had an Ovation similar but I didn't like the sound plugged in.
It had great action but really thin sound.

I own an Alvarez Jumbo and that plays beautiful for the money.....
I'd love a Taylor 600 series or Martin OMC red birch
