My nephew made one, you can see it here. I am not sure what he used as far as the tape goes, but he put the tuners in the body, no neck, really strange. I played it...weird. He calls it the carpenberger.

Had a guitar hanging, just about waist high, and we are going to play these things until the day we die.

well my dad side of the family owns a car shop so he had this special tape i guess they use for cars not sure what its called cause idk where it is but it doesnt leave marks and looks fine if u want to take it off. it took my about 2-3 hours becuase i wanted to get it precise. i used pics and since there are no backside pics i figured out that it wraps around the body so u cut a big piece and u just make it go the way it gos and stuff.

well, the tape that I used is "Insulating tape" (direct translation from Spanish, IDK if it's the correct one). You can buy it in any drug store, so it's not difficult to get one tongue.gif

So just white insulating tape in a random style?
Or did you actually replicate the VH style?
I ask because every time I try to replicate a VH paint job, I near destroy my one remaining braincell :[
