Hey guys!

I would like to start to buy some instructional DVDs, but I don't know which ones, so... Could somebody please tell me any really good ones?
I want to learn how to play better, improve my skills and my phrasing, 'cause I'm starting to get stuck in the same old licks and all that stuff...

I would really apriciate your help here!

Thanks smile.gif

Depends on your goal, type of playing and skill level.. but if i had to pick one, it would be ..

Lick Library - Full Shred Ahead (Andy James)

It helped me a great deal but then again, your goal might not be to get into shredding .. so it all depends.

I recommend Troy Stetina DVD, Petrucci DVD, and possibly try some interesting patterns from this site:

Cheers Ivan! Nice site! ohmy.gif

Do you think Mark Tremonti's DVD is any good?

Paul Gilbert's Intense Rock Part's 1 and 2 are invaluable.
Also the Troy Stetina books are great resources - his Speed Mechanics will keep you busy for a long time.

No prob mate! smile.gif

Didn't check those in person, but I heard some good things about them. I'm sure you won't make a mistake there, just browse a bit for samples before you buy it.

One that really help me go beyond my skills at that time were the ones by Paul Gilbert,

Those are great to develop your technique, but not phrasing
