I like the chords that have the shape of 113XXX (for example) in standard tunings and drop tunings. What type of chords are they in both tunings?

Me likes this topic
Here are two of my current favorites Emin11 i think ? -2-- -3-- -2-- -5-- -2-- -0-- This one is best used with a drop tuning so that you can bar the 2nd fret and move it around instead of having an open string This is nicely illustrated in the main riff of that song https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odUetlJ0FGY And the second one. Bmin(b6) i think -10-- -8-- -11- -9-- --- --- I like to play this one after a Cmaj7 ( for instance 7 8 9 10 x x from high to low) or a Cmaj6 (same thing but playing the 5th fret on the high E) Oh and a quick one -0- -0- -3- -4- -2- -0- ahhh... the Lydian sound This post has been edited by JkB: Jun 15 2011, 11:05 AM |
