If you are using Line6 equipment with your Mac, wait a while with installing the new version of OSX (Snow Leopard).

I installed it yesterday without checking for driver compability first and it was a mistake. There is a BETA driver available that seem to work but all recommendations on the Line6 boards says to wait. Pretty annoying, I can get it to make sound but Monkey cant search for all updates and while I havent tried yet its said that Line 6 Edit doesnt work on the OSX SL yet.

Just a heads up smile.gif

Hi,

We just finished mixing our first song of our new demo. The song is written and composed by our singer Jens and also the recording and mixing is done by us.

Before we put it out on myspace and put it aside we'd love some feedback, negative or positive smile.gif

I am thinking about replacing the stock EMG-HZ pickups in my Jackson SLS guitar. I want passive pickups with a high output to be able to play high gain metal but I want the guitar to not sound exactly like my ESP guitar with EMG81/60 pickups.

I found a link to Irongear pickups site in MickeM's thread and after reading reviews it looks like a very nice pickup for its price.

Anyone here own or played these pickups? I am looking at the Irongear Steam Hammer.

Hi, I just bought a new HP HDX series laptop with Vista 64 OS. I can't get my POD XT Live to make a sound through it sad.gif

I can see in the sound settings that the "bars" that show volume move when I play so sound is defenitly coming through both the mic input and the USB device (although the USB device is very low volume) but neither of them will come out through the speakers.

I am totally new at Vista so I am probably doing something wrong since I can see the sound coming to the laptop sad.gif

Anyone have a clue on what I might be doing wrong?
