Thanks chaps. I've been using Reaper for years now. Want to upgrade to something better like pro tools. PT as a DAW is not better than Reaper - it's just different. What PTHD does offer is a chance to achieve tight integration with accel etc based hardware. That hardware is a good pro standard for recording and mixing and certainly much better than a lot of the prosumer stuff. I cannot help with this, I'm on the other side with Nuendo and Cubase t-shirts. I'm very happy and comfortable with Steinberg's software.
