I would have bought a camera with flash drive instead of a hardrive, since if U drop the camera, the harddisk is no more, and it will be too expensive to repair. I bought a HD-camera a while ago (6 months), and the best buy for the money then was Canon FS22, which I also bought. The lenses are a little less light-sensitive than the Sonys, but some features and the price (back then it was about 250$ less for nearly the same camera) made up for this.
