I live 5 minute drive away but I definitely wont be going. Don't mind some of the bands on but it is so poorly organised. Plus I'm going to Sweden Rock Festival tongue.gif

Looks nice tongue.gif but I won't be going to UK, in Belgium we have Graspop with comparable names! Which is imo really well organised, the only big mistake was they didn't let Blind Guardian play at mainstage last year, what a shame! But anyway that's was such a nice show!

wouldn't it be nice if there was such a festival just for guitar music too.... imagine this lineup:

Yngwie Malmsteen band
Allan Holdsworth Band
Racer X
Frank Gambale
Pat Metheney
Tribal Tech (re-unite for a special gig)
etc....

now that would be great!
actually there kinda is already its called crossroads and its run by eric clapton but its in the US and only really well known people play.

Nick

I quite fancy going to Metal Camp sometime in the future, the list there is really good this year at least, and I've heard its one of the nicer festival areas.
