Just got a silly idea.. Or not, cause I think it would be kind of cool As we all know its pretty "boring" but necessary to practice with the metronom! So, would it be possible to make some kind of different real drumbeats in different speed? Instead of practice to the metronom, you could choose some drums to practice with, just like the metronom but with drums. You probably know what I mean by now There is some online metronoms with drums but not good ones. What do you think about it? It would be cool to have it here on GMC! I would go one step further and add a bass-line progression to go with it. I wrote a blog article about it here if you're interested in my 2 cents. http://www.ckdesigns.com/blog/2011/04/19/t...-misconception/ This post has been edited by SirJamsalot: May 4 2011, 09:52 PM -------------------- The more I practice, the more I wish I had time to practice!

I completely agree. Playing to a metronome can be tiring after awhile. You should try and get the patten on designing one!

This is how I always practice!!!
I use drum beats whenever I can instead of the metronome and since I'm a bass player - it makes perfect sense It would be cool to make a drum groove library here on GMC with beats in different speeds! In the meantime, I found this online drum machine to be very useful : http://www.rinki.net/pekka/monkey/ Cheers, Bogdan -------------------- For GMC support please email support (at) guitarmasterclass.net
