Well probably the only advice I can give you is
to get rid of the noise that surrounds you, either that or headphones. Could you give us the example of lesson/backing you have problems with? -------------------- Youtube

Well probably the only advice I can give you is to get rid of the noise that surrounds you, I can't kill people shouting in the street or shoot at cars passing by Could you give us the example of lesson/backing you have problems with? lol you are the one with a distinctive intro. Your backing tracks sound great from start to finnish. https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/solo-guit...inger-work-out/ https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...e-style-lesson/ https://www.guitarmasterclass.net/rhythm-gu...hythm-exercise/ -------------------- "It's a long way to the top..."

I checked those lessons and must admit it sounds ok to me,
hihat shouldn't be too loud after all. Now,maybe your speakers miss high frequencies so you can't hear it loud enough? -------------------- Youtube

I agree if you can hear through headphones but not through your speakers, then low quality speakers are definitely the problem

Cheap speakers ruin the quality.
So best advice is to try some good speakers. |

Ok. Any suggestion for a mid/budget speakers?I don't even know what price I should be looking for. Well i use these http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-970191-01...2521&sr=8-1 For the price they're great for movies, music etc- i even use these as monitors for when i play guitar through my korg pandora. If thats your budget- i highly recomend, i find they give me good results (if you've got a higher budget, theres alot better you can do) |

There are a number of good computer speaker systems to be had under $60- One of the best deals right now are the Klipsch which are known for high end speakers:
http://www.amazon.com/Klipsch-Groove-PM20-...2935&sr=8-4 For $59 these are a good deal But as others have said, locking into the snare and Bass drum are more important than the hihats - The noise interference might actually be a good challenge, as when performing, the environmnet is never perfect. Hey I just recieved this speakers which I bought on ebay a few days ago for £30 All I can say is WOOOOOOOW. Yes ! I can hear the hi-hat now Truly amazing honest to god I can't even play them at full power I just tried for a few seconds about 70% volume and I had to turn it down Thanks a lot for the recomendations to all of you. What kind of speakers are those - So they sound good - They look pretty ugly though, This post has been edited by Guitar1969: Dec 5 2008, 07:23 PM -------------------- "Three Chords & The Truth . . ."
