What guitar is he playing? The guitar with the holes right through it, looks like a twelve string headstock. I want one biggrin.gif

Well, I definitely don't have one like that but I'm gonna guess that it's a one off custom (or homemade) job. I've never even seen that before. *I do like that the lead singer is Eddy Grant of later "Electric Avenue" fame and MTV staple (we're gonna rock down to ... electric avenue ... and then will take you higher).

Wandre guitars are known for their unusual shapes. If you are curious, you can find more models here:

Yeah Monica! That's exactly it.
How did you even find it? Or are you familiar with those Italian guitars?
I did a reverse image search and came up empty.

With some time ago I saw a picture with a weird shaped guitar which had an attached speaker. So, I started to read more about vintage guitars and after a lot of searches I found that the guitar that I was looking for was a Wandre Bikini 1961. This is how I found the brand.
Having the brand was very easy to find more about them on www.fetishguitar.com. My curiosity made me take a look at all their models and some shapes are really unforgettable.
When I saw today this topic, I remembered immediately where I saw the guitar. That's the story. smile.gif
