Hi !

My name is Uffe, and I´m a new member and a beginner/intermediate guitarplayer(I think), on this great site..! smile.gif

I´m from Sweden, born in 1970, and have a background as a singer in a rockband 1992-2003...
Started playing guitar on my own for fun since 2005, but have felt that I would like to learn,
to play guitar for real smile.gif , and I´d found YOU guys, that give me the opportunity to make this true in an exellent way! smile.gif

Best Regards,

Uffe K.

Hello MrUk! Welcome to GMC!! smile.gif

I'm curious about your old rock band! Where can we listen to some songs?

About your practice. The best would be to create some guitar plans and routines based on your current level and your short and long term goals.

Which are your favorite bands and guitarists?
What are your goals as musician? Polish technique, compose your own songs?
What do you know about theory, scales and all that stuff?
Do you have any audio or video of you playing?

Well Gabriel, thanks for asking! smile.gif

When it comes to favorite bands & guitarists, it´s so wide for me, I listen to many different styles etc.
I´m impressed of so many guitarists in this universe, including GMC´s instructors & many members here smile.gif
Gonna try to decide wich one/ones to start with...!

I´m a right handed guy on guitar, so I think I need to work hard, maby harder then left handed guitarists..?

So when it comes to my goal, I think I´m gonna try to learn play guitar like a pro, even in my sleep smile.gif
Polish technique & become real good will surtain be one of them, and finally compose some own songs
would be nice too, including scales! smile.gif

Ain´t got any audio/video of me playing yet...

Best Regards

Uffe K

Hi Uffe! Thanks for the links! I really liked your stuff! Carelezz has a very good mix of Hard Rock with some Post Grunge. And your voice is very cool, sometimes you made me remember to Scot Weiland and some others for any reason to the singer of the band that made Cats in the cradle... can't remember now their name. You have a very cool voice!

So how is your guitar practice? Do you have a plan for this week?

Sounds good! Be sure to create a plan that covers the things that you want to master as well as dedicate some time to make your own music. Avoiding random playing during the whole guitar session is important if you want to achieve any specific goals.
