Hey!

I'm strongly considering buying the Switchblade head. The problem is that with a new cab this would get pretty pricey, so therefore I'm thinking about keeping my old cab. The only question is, will it sound good? My present rig is a Marshall Lead MOSFET 100w head with the Marshall 1966A 2*12" Cab. Both Cab and head are made somewhere in the mid 80's.

Will this cab work good with the Switchblade?

I've also looked at the 50w combo-model of the Switchblade, and is looks neat, but I'm anxious about it sounding "thinner" than the head with cab. So, this is all questions I can come up with for now....I'll probably have plenty more to ask you guys later.

Whats your recommendations about the Switchblade series in general? I'm all about versatility and mainly good rocktone (GNR, Zeppelin, Deep Purple etc.) but I also want the possibility to tap with my foot and get completely different sounds aswell.

/Fredrik
